Madonna's Australian tour just a rumour?

By Raymond Ronamai

Melbourne, (ANI): Madonna's Aussie fans are all excited after an anonymous email spelt out the pop diva's plans for a tour Down Under.

The email claims Madonna's Celebration tour will see ten gigs in Australia, with three concerts at Rod Laver Arena. The mail says the tour is a 'gift' to Australian fans since it is indoor rather than outdoor and also offers fans a chance to meet the singer for 3000 dollars. The cheapest tickets will be priced at 249 dollars, according to the email.

However, no Australian promoter has been linked to the tour. "The last I heard - which was only a few weeks ago - was there was no Australian tour planned," News.com.au quoted promoter Paul Dainty, as saying. He added: "Stranger things have happened, but it's not very likely."
