Mariah Carey lives up to her diva reputation

New York (ANI): Singer Mariah Carey reportedly took divahood to the next level after demanding nothing less than a royal treatment in Atlantic City. The singer climbed up the diva ladder while performing a series of hits at her recent Borgata concert.

The 39-year-old star purportedly had stagehands bring out a chaise, retouch her hair and makeup and hand out a glass of bubbly in front of the soldout crowd. "Do they expect me to stand up for the whole show? They call me a diva... because I am," the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.

The Hero hitmaker also made "a ton of requests" regarding her hotel suite and had a total of 10 carts carry all her luggage, sources claimed.
