John Mayer helps Haiti earthquake victims

London (ANI): John Mayer has joined the likes of George Clooney, Gisele Bundchen, Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who have given huge cash sums to help the survivors of the Haiti earthquake.

The rocker has donated 312,500 pounds to the relief effort, reports the Daily Express. He has handed over the cash to the American Red Cross.

Mayer has also allowed charity bosses to use 'The Heart of Life" - the song he performed on CNN TV special Haiti: How You Can Help - in a new public service announcement.
