London
(ANI):
MTV
chiefs
have
been
forced
to
issue
an
apology
after
airing
Lady
Gaga's
foul
mouth
tirade
in
the
UK.
The
singer
resorted
to
swear
words
during
her
performance
at
the
Isle
of
MTV
music
festival
last
year.
The
channel
broadcast
the
event
without
chopping
off
the
offensive
words,
thereby
leaving
an
enraged
group
of
executives
at
broadcast
regulator
Ofcom,
reports
the
Daily
Star.
Bosses
at
Ofcom
accused
MTV
of
violating
broadcasting
guidelines
with
the
explicit
broadcast.
They
said
in
a
statement:
"The
most
offensive
language
must
not
be
broadcast
before
the
watershed."
