Ricky Martin to bring Evita back to Broadway

London (ANI): Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin is all set to return to Broadway in an attempt to revive the famous Tony Award winning musical Evita. According to producers, the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice production will be returning to Broadway, reports The Daily Express.

Evita accounts the life and loves of Argentina's former First Lady Eva Peron. The 38-year-old singer will be playing the role of Che, opposite Argentine actress Elena Roger. Being directed by Michael Grandage, the Evita revival may begin in the spring of 2012.
