Susan Boyle to keep TI away from top spot

The ruling lady of the US pop album chart Susan Boyle is going to keep rapper T.I. away from the top spot once again. It is going to be a close contest between Susan and the jailed rapper. No one can predict the sale of 'The Gift" by Susan Boyle till December 12th. However, last week it sold 271,500 copies, which was 3% more than the earlier week. Till today, 'The Gift" has sold 263,000 copies.

In the month of November, Susan faced a tough competition from Kanye West"s new album, which debuted at No 1. T.I. has a record of three albums being at No. 1 and if the latest 'No Mercy" can make it to the top, then it will be a record itself. The industry experts are expecting it to get a start in the range of 130,000-140,000.

In 2008, T.I."s 'Paper Trail" had a grand debut of 568,000 copies. The rapper was sent for an 11-month prison term for violation of his probation rule. Let"s wait for the next week"s sale to know who is ruling the US chart this time. Susan has shown a consistency but T.I. has his line of fan following so we can"t ignore the pressure created by him 'No Mercy".
