Washington (ANI): A DC Comics representative has refuted reports that singer Taylor Swift is set to star in a new Supergirl movie. Rumours were abuzz that the 'You Belong With Me" hitmaker had bagged a role in the remake of 1984 Superman spin-off Supergirl.

"That''s as clueless a thing as we''ve heard all year," Contactmusic quoted a DC comics spokesperson as telling Scotland''s Sunday Mail newspaper. Meanwhile, Swift is ready to make her acting debut with new film Valentine's Day.
