50 Cent's tweet forced to beef up security

By Raymond Ronamai

Rapper 50 Cent did a blunder by posting the details of the party to celebrate the release of Scream 4 on his Twitter page. It raised security fear, as the In Da Club singer has over four million followers on the micro-blogging site and it would turn into a big problem if his fans turned up for the bash.

50 Cent along with movie moguls Harvey and Bob Weinstein hosted a party at a restaurant in New York on yesterday night (1April 12), to celebrate the release of Scream 4 starring David Arquette and Courteney Cox.

However, Tmz.com reported that security was beefed up after 50 Scent posted the invitation on his Twitter page. “While we appreciate 50's enthusiasm, we are not quite prepared in the event that his four million followers turn up," said Mike Zimet, event security specialist of The Weinstein Company.
