AR Rahman with winner Randy Newman at Oscars

The Mozart of Madras, AR Rahman failed to bag the Oscars at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards to Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for The Social Network and Randy Newman for Toy Story 3, under the Original Score and Original Song category. However there are people in Bollywood industry who do not agree to the decision of Oscars.

Bollywood veteran Shabana Azmi tweeted expressing his disappointment, “AR Rahman truly deserved the Oscar for Best Song this year. I love Colin Firth but Social Network lead actor IS The character he played."

However, AR Rahman takes the honor on being nominated for the category for which a thousand of technicians desire to. Rahman posted a rare picture of his with the Oscar Awards winner musician Randy Newman, who won the Original Song Award for Toy Story 3.
