Arctic Monkeys upset over not playing with Rihanna

British indie band, Arctic Monkeys are disappointed as they will not even be playing at the same venue as Rihanna at the V Festival which is going to be held in England this August. The 'Fake Tales from San Francisco' hitmakers were desperately hoping to play alongside Rihanna in this upcoming festival.

According to reports Rihanna will be performing at Essex with rapper 'Eminem', when the British rockers will be headlining in Staffordshire and when the 'Umbrella' hitmaker will be entertaining Essex, the Monkeys will be doing a gig at the other venue. This made frontman Alex Turner very unhappy.

Arctic Monkeys were one of the first bands to hit the lime-light because of the internet. The band in their early days would distribute their demos to the audience. Fans started sharing these demos on the internet and someone even created a Myspace page for the Arctic Monkeys. As a result of all this the band hit the big times.
