Gary Barlow tops poll for X Factor judging panel

London (ANI): Take That singer Gary Barlow has come out tops in a poll to find the celebrity that TV fans would most like to see join The X Factor judging panel. According to the Sun survey, Barlow, 40, was chosen by viewers as the one to take over from Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole if they quit the show to star on the US adaptation, the Daily Star reported.

He landed a fifth of the vote, while former judge Sharon Osbourne came second with 18 percent. Nicole Scherzinger, who appeared as a guest judge on the last series of the reality show, received 16 percent of the vote and Barlow"s bandmate Robbie Williams won 14 percent.
