Billy
Ray
Cyrus
has
called
off
his
divorce
from
wife
Tish.
Five
months
ago,
the
American
country
musician
had
announced
the
end
of
their
17-year
marriage
citing
irreconcilable
differences.
After
filing
a
voluntary
dismissal,
he
said
that
he
wanted
to
put
his
family
back
together.
He
also
confessed
that
Hannah
Montana
did
not
ruin
his
family.
The
American
singer
was
recently
on
American
chat
show
'The
View'
when
he
spoke
about
his
decision
to
drop
his
divorce.
"I've
dropped
the
divorce.
I
want
to
put
my
family
back
together.
Things
are
the
best
they've
ever
been," the
Daily
Mail
quoted
him
as
saying
on
the
show.
Billy
Ray
is
now
rebuilding
bridges
with
daughter
Miley
Cyrus.
He
said,
“I
feel
like
I
got
my
Miley
back.
I
feel
like
we're
the
daddy
and
daughter
we
were
before
Hannah
Montana."
Meanwhile,
he
insisted
on
staying
away
from
spotlight.
He
added,
"Hannah
Montana
didn't
ruin
my
family.
Fame
did."
However,
singer
Cyrus' lawyer
Robert
L.
Jackson
filed
a
'voluntarily
dismissal
and
non-suit'
on
March
11
at
a
Tennessee
court.
And
Judge
James
Martin
dismissed
the
divorce
that
day.
