Black Eyed Peas concert cancelled due to rain

Hip hop-funk band the Black Eyed Peas were disappointed when their benefit concert got cancelled due to thunder storms. The show was supposed to take place on June 9, at New York Central Park. The concert scheduled to start at 5 pm was delayed due to bad weather.

Taboo tweeted the BEP fans, “Fergie is really sorry it's not happening we feel horrible. We are devastated and Fergie told me to tweet this she loves u all. I hope that the concert will be rescheduled ASAP , our pea-ple deserve it, my peaple from chase and robinhood deserve this NYC we love u."

The concert at first was rescheduled to 8:30 pm after the other performers which included Natasha, Bedingfield, Tony Benett, Carole King and LL Cool J were unable to make it to the venue due to bad weather. The fans were allowed to enter at around 8 pm, but after 15 minutes the concert got cancelled because of worsening weather conditions.

According to the Wall Street journal, the fans were very disappointed and they started shouting slogans such as, “Black Eyed Peas suck." The concert was intended to raise funds for Robin Hood Foundation, which helps the poor in New York city.
