“At the moment, there is no rescheduled for Delhi. Rumours of Gurgaon are simply that, I wish it was better new. I'm sorry to all the fans," Bryan Adams wrote on his Twitter page.

The planned concert was cancelled after the Delhi police denied permission to the organizers to hold the concert at the NSIC exhibition ground. They said that over 10, 000 tickets were sold though the ground could accommodate only 6, 000 people. They were also concerned, as proper safety measure like VIP, exit and rescue routes were not taken care of.

Meanwhile, the organizers are still trying to find an alternative to hold it at another venue and another date. They have issued a statement that the details of the new venue and date would be announced soon. They also said that mechanism for refunding the purchased tickets would be made available for those who don"t want to attend the rescheduled concert.

Bryan Adams is on a five-city tour in India. He has performed to packed audiences in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore. He is scheduled to perform in Hyderabad tonight.
