be
fuming
with
anger,
as
the
much-awaited
Bryan
Adams
concert
in
the
city
is
likely
to
be
cancelled.
The
concert
is
supposed
to
take
place
tonight
but
the
organisers
have
run
into
trouble
with
the
city
police
department
for
selling
extra
tickets.

The
Delhi
police
have
denied
No
Objection
Certificate
to
the
organisers
over
security
concerns.
They
said
that
over
10,
000
tickets
have
been
sold
though
the
NSIC
exhibition
ground
could
accommodate
only
6,
000
people.
They
are
also
concerned,
as
the
organisers
have
not
planned
the
traffic
around
the
concert
venue.
Even
the
VIPs,
exit
and
rescue
routes
have
not
been
planned.
Police
officials
said
that
they
have
informed
the
organisers
about
the
denial
of
permission
on
February
10.
However,
the
organisers
of
the
concert
have
not
lost
hope
yet.
They
said
that
talks
are
still
on
to
make
the
event
happen.
Rocker
Bryan
Adams
also
expressed
his
eagerness
to
entertain
his
fans.
“I'm
in
New
Delhi
waiting
to
hear
from
the
police
about
the
concert.
As
far
as
I'm
concerned
the
show
is
ON
-
we're
100%
here
for
the
fans," he
posted
on
his
Twitter
page.
Bryan
Adams
is
on
a
five-city
tour
in
India.
He
has
performed
to
packed
audiences
in
Mumbai,
Pune
and
Bangalore.
He
is
scheduled
to
perform
in
Delhi
tonight
and
in
Hyderabad
tomorrow.
