Cheryl Cole will help X Factor beat American Idol

London, (ANI): Fox Networks Group Entertainment Chairman Peter Rice has praised Cheryl Cole as a "terrific" X Factor judge.

Although no official announcement has been made on her 3million pounds judging deal, Rice said the singer"s "wonderful" chemistry with Simon Cowell will help 'The X Factor USA" beat 'American Idol".

"If Cheryl was to be on the show, she's proved that she's a terrific judge. She has wonderful chemistry with Simon," the Sun quoted him as saying. Addressing at a TV critics' convention in California, Rice said the final judges' line-up is still being decided.
