Popular
singer
Christina
Aguilera
has
received
lots
of
flak
for
flubbing
a
line
of
the
national
anthem
at
the
opening
ceremony
of
the
Super
Bowl,
the
championship
game
of
the
National
Football
League.
However,
her
counterpart
Fergie
has
come
to
her
rescue
by
supporting
her.

with

band
Black

Peas
and

during
halftime
of
the

and

game,
defended
Christina
by
saying
that
such
mistake
could
happen
at
such
high-profile
concerts
due
to
lots
of
pressure.
She
added
that
she
is
one
of
the
best
singers
but
could
get
nervous
as
she
is
a
human
too.
Christina
had
earlier
offered
her
apology
for
the
mistake.
“I
got
so
caught
up
in
the
moment
of
the
song
that
I
lost
my
place.
I
can
only
hope
that
everyone
could
feel
my
love
for
this
country
and
that
the
true
spirit
of
its
anthem
still
came
through," Contactmusic
quoted
the
singer
as
saying.
