Jennifer Lopez returning to 'American Idol': confirmed

Singer Jennifer Lopez is all set to return to the 11 season of hit reality TV show 'American Idol'. On Wednesday, producer Nigel Lythgoe has confirmed that the Hollywood actress will comeback to the judges" table alongside mainstay Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler.

Talking to Ryan Seacrest on his morning radio show, Nigel Lythgoe said, "I believe we"re still waiting for the official announcements but I am delighted to say that all three judges, along with the brilliant host of American Idol, is back for the next season."

However, Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler both have inked multi-year deals and have already been locked in for Season 11 of American Idol, which bows in January. But Fox has not officially confirmed Jennifer Lopez's contract. She has collected $12 million for 10th season. Sources claim that now she wants a salary closer to Simon Cowell"s $35 million a year.
