Lady Gaga turning Godmother of Sir Elton John's son

The latest buzz about the singer Lady Gaga is that she is set to become the godmother to gay couple Sir Elton John and David Furnish's son Zachary, who was born via a surrogate mother on Christmas day. In a recent interview, Furnish has confirmed the news. He has also assured that very soon they are going to make a public statement about Godparents.

Talking to Canadian magazine Macleans, David Furnish confirmed the rumour about Lady Gaga would become their son's Godparent. He said, “We haven"t publicly confirmed that yet, but your sources are very good! I prefer not to comment on it because we are going to make a statement about Godparents later on."

Sir Elton John's gay partner added: “She"s all about inclusiveness and tolerance. She believes that you can be whoever you want to be and that we don"t have to live in a world of conformity and that we can all benefit from individuality. That"s the best message in the world. The freedom to be who you are, do what you want and love who you want to love."

However, Lady Gaga and Sir Elton John have became close friends after they performed duet in the 2010 Grammy Awards.
