Lady Gaga Monster Ball concert to be aired on HBO

New York (ANI): HBO will broadcast a solo Lady Gaga concert from New York's Madison Square Garden on May 7, the cable network has announced. 'Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden" will be taped on Feb. 21 and 22 and directed by Lauriann Gibson, who has directed most of Lady Gaga's music videos, including 'Bad Romance" and 'Telephone," reports the New York Post.

A 10-piece band and 10 backup dancers will back the Grammy Award-winning musician. “Lady Gaga is the single most exciting music talent on the scene today," said HBO Entertainment president Sue Naegle.

“We're especially thrilled that she'll be creating unique new elements for the special that will make the show an even more memorable experience for our viewers."
