Singer
Lady
Gaga
is
facing
the
wrath
of
the
followers
of
Catholic
Church
over
her
song
'Judas'
from
her
latest
album
'Born
This
Way'.
But
she
does
not
seem
to
be
worried
about
it.
The
American
star
is
all
set
to
perform
the
song
on
'The
Ellen
DeGeneres
Show'
on
Thursday,
April
28.
For
the
first
time,
Lady
Gaga
is
singing
the
song
'Judas'
on
a
national
television
channel.
Later
in
an
interview
with
Ellen
DeGeneres,
the
Poker
Face
singer
will
talk
about
her
egg
act
at
the
Grammy
Awards
2011.
She
has
also
decided
to
premiere
the
music
video
for
'Judas'
on
'American
Idol'
on
May
2.
However,
'Judas'
was
released
worldwide
on
April
15,
2011
by
Interscope
Records.
It
is
a
dance
song
that
speaks
of
a
woman
in
love
with
a
man,
who
betrays
her
while
simultaneously
embodying
things
that
have
haunted
her
in
the
past.
But
the
Catholic
League
has
condemned
Gaga
for
the
alleged
use
of
religious
imagery
and
her
role
as
Magdalene
in
the
video.
The
song
'Judas'
contains
the
lyrics:
"In
the
most
Biblical
sense,
I
am
beyond
repentance
/
Fame
hooker,
prostitute
wench,
vomits
her
mind
/
But
in
the
cultural
sense
I
just
speak
in
future
tense/
Judas
kiss
me
if
offensed,
or
wear
an
ear
condom
next
time."
