I smoke a lot of pot when I write music: Lady Gaga

Melbourne (ANI): Lady Gaga has revealed that she smokes “a lot of pot" when she writes her songs. The Grammy-winner opened up about her pot smoking and drinking during a pre-recorded conversation with TV host Anderson Cooper that went to air over the weekend, Us Magazine reports.

“I smoke a lot of pot when I write music," news.com.au quoted Gaga as telling Cooper. “I'm not gonna, like, sugar coat it for 60 Minutes that, you know, I'm some, like, sober human being, ''cause I'm not. I drink a lot of whiskey and I smoke weed when I write. I don"t do it a lot because it''s not good for my voice," she added.

Gaga, however, maintained that her frank admission was all about honesty and not about advocating drug use.
