Mel B rejects hubby's baby names

Melanie Brown aka Mel B, who is pregnant with her third child, has rejected the baby names her husband Stephen Belafonte has suggested. She thinks his name choice is boring and wants an interesting name. She also doesn't like the names suggested by her daughters Phoenix, 12, and Angel, four.

“Stephen and Angel and Phoenix come up with the most ridiculous suggestions, either really generic or totally out there and random. Stephen only likes really boring names . He's suggested Tom and Sarah. Phoenix and Angel are pretty exotic, I can't now have a Tom or a Sarah. Angel wants to call the baby Bubblegum and Phoenix wants Skyler. I'm probably just going to come up with the name myself," Hello! Magazine quoted the singer as saying.

The Spice Girls singer revealed that she would go for a name that would suit both boy and girl. “I've been trying to think of unisex names, as we don't know the gender. With Phoenix, her dad and I picked the name ages before she was born, but with Angel she didn't have a name for two weeks. She just looked like a little peanut, so that's what I would call her," she added.
