Noel Gallagher reveals why he fell out with Liam

By Raymond Ronamai

It's already two years since the Oasis split. After keeping silent all this while, Noel Gallagher has finally opened up on why he fell out with his younger brother Liam Gallagher. He revealed at London"s Electric Theatre on how his brother led to the break-up of the band.

“He picked up a plum and threw it across the dressing room and it smashed against the wall. Part of me wishes it had ended like that, you know, 'Plum throws plum." But he came back with a guitar and started wielding it like an axe and I"m not f****** kidding – it"s a real unnecessary violent act," The Daily Mirror quoted Noel as saying.

“He"s swinging the guitar around and he kind of... he nearly took my face off with it. So I was like, 'I"m f****** out of here" and I walked out and got in the car and sat there for five minutes, and I said 'F*** it, I can"t do it any more." And I regret it as we only had two gigs left," he added.

Noel, who recently married long-term girlfriend Sara, said that Liam also tried to advertise his clothes in the Oasis tour programme. “I"d had enough of him. I didn"t think it was right for him to be flogging his gear to our fans – so I asked him how much he wanted to pay to be included and he hit the roof. It went downhill from there," he said.

Well, Noel will soon release his solo album Noel Gallagher"s High Flying Birds. He however said that going solo is not easy.
