Now
that
Noel
Gallagher's
wedding
is
just
round
the
bend,
the
former
Oasis
guitarist
wants
his
younger
brother
and
former
band-mate
to
attend
his
wedding.
The
two
have
not
spoken
to
each
other
since
August
2009,
after
they
had
a
heated
argument
before
a
Paris
festival
appearance
which
led
to
the
end
of
Britpop
group
Oasis.
However,
after
two
years
of
cold
silence,
Noel
has
decided
to
come
forward
and
extend
a
hand
of
friendship.
Talking
about
this,
Daily
Mirror
newspaper
quoted
the
guitarist
saying
in
his
stag
party,
“He
is
my
brother.
He
is
a
tit
but
he's
my
brother
so
I
guess
he
should
be
there.
Yeah,
I
would
want
him
there.
Family
is
family
on
days
like
that
and
it
would
make
a
lot
of
people
happy.
But
he'll
always
be
a
complete
t**t."
Peggy,
the
mother
of
the
two
siblings
also
wants
Liam
to
come
to
Noel's
wedding
so
that
they
can
sort
out
their
differences.
But
Liam
remained
adamant
as
he
was
quoted
as
saying,
“Let's
be
clear
about
one
thing
here
-
this
band
is
not
a
stop
gap
until
me
and
our
kid
bump
into
each
other.
Him
and
me
are
over
and
done
with.
This
is
the
real
deal.
I'd
like
to
think
we
grow
up
to
be
friends
later
on
but
I've
no
time
for
that
just
yet.
The
way
I
view
Oasis
now
is
that's
it
like
having
a
child
from
a
previous
relationship."
