Paul McCartney finally working with Decca to release ballet

Musician Sir Paul McCartney is finally ready to work with Decca and their bond is happening after almost 50 years after the label famously rejected the Beatles. Now, Decca will release Macca's first ballet 'Ocean"s Kingdom', which will debut on September 22 in New York City.

For 50 years, Decca had been rejecting the Beatles stating that the group had no future in show business. Now, the record label has come forward to work with Paul McCartney to release his upcoming ballet 'Ocean's Kingdom'. The show will debut on September 22 at the New York City Ballet and will have four additional performances in September and five in January.

Paul McCartney's four-movement 'Ocean's Kingdom' is conducted by John Wilson and performed by the London Classical Orchestra. The ballet deals with the tale of an underwater love story, where the deep-sea world is threatened by humans. The recording will be released in Britain by Decca on Oct. 3.

However, Paul McCartney has completed a first draft in two months. Then he worked with choreographer Martins to refine it. "What was interesting was writing music that meant something expressively rather than just writing a song. Trying to write something that expressed an emotion - so you have fear, love, anger, sadness to play with and I found that exciting and challenging." the BBC quotes his statement.
