Rihanna turns down X Factor offer

Television show mogul Simon Cowell has offered singer Rihanna to join the judge panel of the US version of The X Factor show. However, the singer has been forced to turn down the offer, as she has a tight touring schedule this year.

“Yes, it's something that I would have loved to do, actually. But our schedule doesn't allow and it's a demanding schedule to be on that show. You have to be around months at a time, which is impossible for me," Rihanna told Ryan Seacrest's 102.7 KIIS FM show.

Rihanna couldn't accept the offer, as judging the show needs lots of travelling. So far, only Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid have been confirmed for the panel of the the show's US version. Singers like Cheryl Cole, who's on the UK version of the show, Nicole Scherzinger, Jessica Simpson and Katy Perry are said to be considered for the panel.
