Scotty McCreery to sing first at America Idol finale

The final countdown has begun for the grand finale of the American Idol. 17-year-old America singer Scotty McCreery won the coin toss to decide who would sing first in the next week"s finale but he let Lauren Alaina to take the call. And as expected, the latter chose to sing second.

It is said that singing second in the finale has advantage, as they perform just minutes before the viewer vote but Scott gave Alaina the chance to choose the order.

The American Idol finalists were excited when they were selected for the grand finale. “I felt like I was going to pass out. I was crossing my fingers and praying Ryan Seacrest was going to call out my name. I feel so blessed to be here, I cannot believe it," said Alaina.

Scotty McCreery described it as a crazy ride. “I had so many emotions going through my head. There have been so many thoughts coming through my head this whole competition. It's just been a crazy ride," he said.

Who will win the American Idol title - Scotty McCreery or Lauren Alaina? Watch out guys!
