Post-grunge
band
Seether
has
become
a
three
piece
band
after
guitarist
Troy
MCLawhorn
quit
the
band
to
rejoin
his
former
band
Evanescence.
According
to
reports,
the
former
Seether
axeman
left
the
band
because
of
some
'personal
friction'
with
another
member.
Troy
quit
right
after
the
band
had
finished
recording
their
new
album
'Holding
On
to
Strings
Better
Left
to
Fray'.
Fronman
Shaun
expressed
his
frustration
in
his
Twitter
page
by
saying,
“Interesting
news
about
our
old
guitarist.
Can
anyone
guess?
No,
he's
not
coming
back.
He
went
to
another
band.
Little
anti-Shaun
club.
Any
more
guesses...?
So,
good
f**king
luck
to
Amy
Lee
and
Troy."
However,
on
the
other
hand,
Evanescence
frontwoman
Amy
Lee
is
very
happy
to
have
Troy
back
to
their
band.
“I'm
proud
to
announce
that
Troy
MCLawhorn
is
back
in
Ev!
Album
is
sounding
awesome!
We
love
you
Troy!
Welcome
back,"
she
posted
on
Twitter.
Shaun
and
Amy
Lee
had
a
very
bad
public
breakup
after
dating
for
two
years.
