Shakira dating Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique

Colombian singer Shakira, who sang the official song of the 2010 World Cup 'Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)', is literally bitten by football bug. She has finally confirmed that she is dating Spanish FC Barcelona star Gerard Pique.

Shakira posted a picture of the couple on her Twitter page with the caption “Les presento a mi sol... Shak", which means “I present to you my sunshine." The photo has the couple in all smiles and Pique's arms wrapped warmly around the singer.

It is said that Shakira met Pique while shooting the video of the song 'Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)' and rumours of their affair started when the footballer posted a photo of them partying together. The couple have been denying any romantic links till lately. But the singer has finally made their relationship public.
