Shakira presents guitar to Venezuelan President

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who is currently recuperating from knee injury, could not stop singing on receiving an autographed guitar from Shakira. The “Waka Waka" singer sent a 'get well soon' present to the Venezuelan President on may 14.

It is said that Hugo Chavez strummed the red electric guitar gifted by Shakira and sang all night. He thanked the singer on Venezuelan state TV for the present. He also revealed that he was supposed to meet the singer when she performed in Caracas on March 11 but the meeting was canceled after her flight was delayed.

Well, it looks like Shakira magic has rubbed on the Venezuelan President!
