Simon Cowell gets death threat; increases security

Music mogul Simon Cowell has made many famous through his reality shows American Idol and The X Factor. He has made many enemies too through the shows. Now, news has it that he has increased security at his residence in Los Angeles following death threats from dejected wannabe contestants.

“People want to kill me. It's serious and we have a lot of security now for that reason. My bosses told me they have been shown emails threatening my life. They said one man wanted to stab me. It sent a chill down me. But I'm used to it," the Daily Star quoted Simon as saying.

It is said that the music mogul receives around 500 hate mails every week. He is currently busy with US version of The X Factor.
