Sophie Monk calls off her engagement to Jimmy Esebag

Singer Sophie Monk is said to have called off her engagement to her fiance Jimmy Esebag. The Australian pop singer's relationship with the US-based French millionaire is coming to an end within two months after they got engaged. Sources claim that she is single and thinking of becoming a 'Sam Ronson'.

According to sources, Sophie Monk has recently recorded an interview for American talk show host Chelsea Handler's show Chelsea Lately, which will be aired on on E!, Channel 121 on Foxtel and Austarat 10.30 pm on Tuesday, on 8th March. Talking to the TV host, the singer revealed that she was single and she was no longer engaged. She has also spill the beans on why she has split with the American-based businessman.

Sophie Monk had an age-difference of 20 years, but she had defended it by saying he was her 'soul mate' and a 'male version' of herself. The couple had a whirlwind three-month romance before they decided to get married. She had also said he had given her a 'new perspective on life'.

However, Monk has previously been engaged to rocker Benji Madden and dated television and radio star Ryan Seacrest.
