I truly love Chris Brown: Rihanna

Three years after their infamous altercation, pop singer Rihanna has opened up on her feelings about her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. The Barbadian singer was recently interviewed by Oprah Winfrey for the Next Chapter, which was aired on August 19. Talking to her Rihanna said that she still loves Chris.

Rihanna said that she thought that he was the love of her life. Both loved each other equally. The singer said, "We have maintained a very close friendship ever since the restraining order was dropped. We're very, very close friends. We built a trust again and that's it. We love each other and we probably always will, and that's not anything that we're going to try to change."

Despite what happened between them, Rihanna still loves Chris Brown and cares for him. She admitted that it was hard for her to see him again as she still had feelings for him. She said, "I truly love him - the main thing for me is he's at peace. I'm not at peace if he's not happy or he's still lonely. I care. It actually matters that he finds that peace."

Although they have not been meeting each other after the altercation, Rihanna and Chris Brown have been working on their friendship again. The singer further told Oprah, "Now we're very, very close friends. We built up a trust again. And that's it. We love each other and we probably always will."
