Whitney Houston buried next to her father John Russell

The body of singer Whitney Houston, who was found dead at a hotel room on February 11, was laid to rest at a brief private funeral ceremony in New Jersey on Sunday, 19th Feb. It was reported that she wanted to be buried next to her father John Russell Houston. As per her wish, she was buried next to her father at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, NJ.

It was a star-studded funeral ceremony with several celebrities, who gathered at the the Fairview Cemetery, mourning her loss through songs. The mortal remains of Whitney Houston were brought to the Cemetery though hearse carriage. Thousands of her fans had gathered near the funeral home and some even ran alongside the hearse yelling, "We love you, Whitney!" Their cry of loss reached the sky.

However, Whitney Houston, who was to attend a pre-Grammy Awards party, was found dead in bathtub in her Beverly Hills hotel room a day before she was to attend the Grammy Awards. No cause of death has been determined and Los Angeles police are investigating to find out whether there was any foul play behind her death.
