Don't need friends to be happy: Justin Bieber

Los Angeles: Singer Justin Bieber, who has attracted a lot of controversy for his behaviour, admits that he finds it harder to trust people these days except his four friends. In an interview with Teen Vogue magazine, the singer says that he does not need a bunch of friends to make him happy and he needs the people who are close to him.

Talking to Teen Vogue magazine, Justin Bieber says, "I get good vibes from people all the time, and I probably could get along with them and be their friend, but now I just don't trust anybody." The singer adds, "Literally, my phone never rings. I only have ... four people that I keep in contact with. I don't need a bunch of friends to make me happy. I just need the people close to me that I love, that's all."

The 19-year-old has attracted a lot of criticism recently for a string of incidents, including showing up late for a concert. Despite all the problems, Bieber believes his fans still support him. "My Twitter is really nice. I have so many fans that I rarely ever see a nasty tweet. I see so much stuff on the Internet, sometimes I just want to go to Twitter and just go after people," he said.
