Justin Bieber sued for assaulting a photographer

Los Angeles: In recent days, singer Justin Bieber, who hogged the limelight with 'My World' in 2009, has often been making it to the headlines for all wrong reasons. The singer is back in news again for another wrong reason. He is being sued for allegedly kicking a photographer in the stomach last year while on a date with his then girlfriend Selena Gomez, reports contactmusic.com.

Justin Bieber has reportedly been accused of assaulting paparazzo Jose Osmin Hernandez in Los Angeles while on a date with his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez. According to court documents, the photographer claims that the singer got frustrated with him and several other photographers for taking pictures of the then couple at The Commons retail complex in Calabasas.

Jose Osmin Hernandez claims Justin Bieber jumped out of his car and delivered a martial arts-type kick in the lower rib cage on the left side of his abdomen. Then he used his left fist to punch him on the right side of his face and pushed him against a parked car. A few minutes later, Selena Gomez returned to the scene and apologised to him for Justin's behaviour. But in the documents, it is not clear about the amount of compensation Jose is seeking in the lawsuit.
