Kelly Clarkson Pregnant With First Baby; Announces On Twitter

Singer Kelly Clarkson is expecting her first child with music manager Brandon Blackstock. The singer announced the news on social networking site twitter.

The "Stronger" hitmaker, who married Blackstock last month, announced the news on microblogging site Twitter Tuesday, reports contactmusic.com. "I'm pregnant! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever," tweeted the 31-year-old. Clarkson has been looking forward to start a family for quite some time now. She told Jay Leno last week, "We are not announcing anything right now! ... Practice makes perfect! We're trying, trying, trying ... like rabbits!"

Kelly Clarkson and Blackstock tied the knot on Oct. 20 at Blackberry Farms in Walland, Tenn. The guests of honour at their marriage was Blackstock's two children from his previous marriage.

Clarkson relies heavily on Social networking sites as soon after her wedding, she posted her wedding pictures and tweeted, "I'm officially Mrs. Blackstock :) We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!"
