Selena Gomez to take a break from singing

Los Angeles: Singer Selena Gomez, who has recently been in news for her severed relationship with Justin Bieber, is planning to take a break from singing and has said she wants to get more into films. The 20-year-old singer plans to take an extended break from music after her 'Stars Dance' world tour, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Selena Gomez said, "Yeah, probably for a while, I wanna get more into film. I'm open to trying new things." The singer-turned-actress added, "I just did an action movie and a dark comedy and then a drama so I've been able to do really fun projects that are different."

The world tour of Selena Gomez takes off this summer and the singer has revealed that her biggest priority is to get in shape in order to keep up with the energetic dance routines she has planned. She also admitted that she hasn't yet chosen a support act for the European part of the tour. She is also open to suggestion for talented singers or bands.

Selena Gomez said: "I have Emblem 3 who are from the 'X Factor' in America, in Europe we actually haven't picked an opener yet, so am open to suggestions!" (IANS)
