Panchayat Actor Aasif Khan Hospitalized: Aasif Khan, who charmed his way as the quirky 'Damad Ji' (son-in-law) Ganesh in Amazon Prime's hit series Panchayat, was rushed to the hospital due to a serious health concern. According to reports surfacing online, the 34-year-old actor suffered a sudden heart attack. The news left fans and colleagues equally shocked.

On Tuesday (July 15), Aasif Khan - widely known for his performances in 'Panchayat', 'Mirzapur', 'Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega' and 'Paatal Lok', to name a few - left everyone concerned over his health after he shared an Instagram story while lying on a hospital bed.

According to TV9, the actor had suffered a heart attack two days ago. As per India Today, the actor is now out of danger and is expected to be discharged from the hospital in a couple of days.

Taking to Instagram, Aasif shared a note on his Ig story in which he urged everyone not to take life for granted. He wrote, "Realising after watching this for past 36 hours Life is short, dont take one day for granted, everything can change in a moment, be grateful for all you have and all that you are. Remember who is more important to you and always cherish them. Life is a gift and we are blessed (sic)".

Hours after this, Aasif Khan, who is doing well now, shared another story on his Instagram and revealed that he is "now on road to recovery and feeling much better".

He wrote, "Over the past few hours, I've been dealing with some health issues that required hospitalisation. I'm grateful to share that I'm now on the road to recovery and feeling much better.

I truly appreciate all the love, concern, and well-wishes. Your support means the world to me.

I'll be back very soon. Until then, thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. (sic)"

On the work front, Aasif Khan was last seen in Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy and Palak Tiwari's horror-comedy film 'The Bhootnii'.
