Bandish Bandits 2 Exclusive: Bandish Bandits Season 2 hit Amazon Prime on December 13 and it has been garnering much-deserved limelight for its intriguing plot that continues to charm audiences. Not only that, it is the ensemble cast and fresh addition to the list that made the show worth watching.
One fresh new face, who is under the limelight for playing a courageous character, is Paresh Pahuja. Paresh, who is a classical singer and enjoys a large fan base, plays the character of a 'rebellious rockstar' which is completely opposite to who he is. Talking to us, Paresh revealed that he was initially sceptical playing the character, however, later he realized how it changed him as a person and as an actor as well.
Paresh Pahuja On How Playing Mahi Changed Him As A Person
Paresh reveals how he was sceptical playing a sitar player, who has been acing in the field for years, and asking the director, Anand Tiwari, if he was sure casting him in the first place. However, he set his vision and mind after being encouraged. Later, he realized how the character was a game changer for him.
Talking about it Paresh, who is a successful singer and songwriter himself, said, "The character Mahi helped me to be more connected to my music and be more truthful to my art. It also helped me to break the algorithm barrier and empowered me to play what I want to play, sing what I want to sing without thinking of log kya sochenge aur woh kya sun rahe hai(what people will think and what they are listening to at the moment)."
Getting the opportunity working with such a talented cast, Paresh spilled the beans the energy in the shooting set and called it was like a 'party' everyday. Praising Divya Dutt, Ritwik Bhowmick, Shreya Chaudhry, Paresh revealed that his favorite among everyone is Sheeba Chaddha, "There is something magical and spiritual about her," he stated.

On the work front, Paresh is gearing up for his upcoming film Lord Curzon Ki Haveli where he will be sharing screen space with Rasika Duggal, Arjun Mathur, Zoha Rahman, among others. He will also be seen in a show called, 13th. Not only that, but Paresh is also embarking on a six city India tour as a musician along with that.
