Daaku Maharaaj On Netflix: Daaku Maharaaj has been one of the recently released which has been the centre of limelight for so many reasons, apart from being one of the first films of 2025 to enter Rs. 100 Cr club. The movie, which was released on big screens on January 12, 2025, is now gearing up to hit the OTT space and Netflix has acquired the rights of the same. Ahead of the release, there have been multiple reports that claimed that Urvashi Rautela, who played a significant role in the Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer, will not be seen in the movie's OTT version. A report by IANS earlier confirmed that Rautela's scenes are now removed from the OTT version of the film after the streaming giant excluded the actress from the poster release earlier. However, later Netflix posted a new carousel featuring Urvashi Rautela twice leaving netizens in split.

After the report circulated online, a source close to Netflix confirmed that no such thing is happening. It further ensured that no scene featuring Urvashi Rautela has been cut from Daaku Maharaaj, "The scenes that were part of the theatrical release are still part of the digital premiere," the source added.

There have been several speculations that Urvashi's scenes are removed due to her having a 'tone-deaf' remark regarding the Saif Ali Khan stabbing incident during the promotion of the film where she said, "It is very unfortunate. Now, Daaku Maharaj has crossed Rs 105 crore at the box office and my mother gifted me this diamond-studded Rolex, while my father gifted me this mini watch on my finger, but we don't feel confident to wear it outside openly. There is this insecurity that anybody can attack us. Whatever happened was very unfortunate."
Her dance moves with Nandamuri Balakrishna in Dabidi Dibidi have caused further contorversy when netizens labelled it 'vulgar' and 'obscene' which added fuel to the rumours of her scenes being removed from the OTT version.
Daaku Maharaaj, helmed by Bobby Kolli, also stars Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Sachin Khedekar, Pradeep Rawat, Shraddha Srinath, and Shine Tom Chacko, among others.
