Why Did Netflix Remove Urvashi Rautela From Daaku Maharaaj?

During the promotion of Daaku Maharaaj, Urvashi Rautela's statement on Saif Ali Khan attack took a controversial turn where she showcased her luxury gifts following the film's entering Rs. 100 Cr club, instead of showing empathy, which netizens perceived as 'tone-deaf' remark. She said, "It is very unfortunate. Now, Daaku Maharaj has crossed Rs 105 crore at the box office and my mother gifted me this diamond-studded Rolex, while my father gifted me this mini watch on my finger, but we don't feel confident to wear it outside openly. There is this insecurity that anybody can attack us. Whatever happened was very unfortunate."

Her comment garnered widespread backlash around social media. On the other hand, the actress featuring in Dabidi Dibidi song with Nandamuri Balakrishna has been labeled as 'vulgar' and 'obscene' as netizens slammed the choreographer Shekhar Master. To which Rautela commented, "hard to assess why people are talking about the choreography in this way."

Helmed by Bobby Kolli, Daaku Maharaaj also stars Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Sachin Khedekar, Pradeep Rawat, Shraddha Srinath, and Shine Tom Chacko, among others.
