Addinath Kothare brings a seasoned maturity to Detective Dhananjay, reflecting years of experience through his physicality and presence. At the same time, the world around him, especially through Chotu played by Pushkaraj Chirputkar, introduces a strong technological layer, influenced heavily by writer Girish Joshi's deep understanding of cybercrime.

Talking about this unique approach, Addinath shared, "I would say Chotu is the author-back character. Why? Because the writer Girish Joshi is very technosavvy. He made a portal on the dark web, he did some hacking and then he started writing the script, he is a person who cuts his own throat."

He further adds, "Girish's techno element gives a different flavour to the character. In fact, if you read the book, Chotu is the basic character. Due to the support of technology, he has given a different touch to the character. I think Girish Joshi's example is an exception... but Dhananjay is a character of this era who still relies on instinct."
