Dhurandhar OTT Release date: Ranveer Singh returned to cinemas after two years with Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller Dhurandhar, and his comeback has been nothing short of a spectacle at the box office. After Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, the Bollywood star delivered yet another memorable performance, winning the hearts of the audience.

The big-budget project was positioned as one of Bollywood's major spy releases of the year, and it didn't disappoint. Surpassing all the expectations, the movie emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, beating Chhaava, Kantara 2 (Kantara: Chapter 1) and Saiyaara.

Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh promised a never-before-seen film that takes espionage to the next level. Trade experts predicted that the flick would open in the range between Rs 18-20 crore; however, it surpassed the expectations by registering Rs 28 crore on the first day, as per Sacnilk.

In a major development, Dhurandhar has already crossed the Rs 600-crore mark in India. The movie has smashed box office records, successfully earning Rs 930 crore (gross) worldwide, becoming the most successful Indian film of the year.

Dhurandhar brought together a star-studded cast, all thanks to Mukesh Chhabra. Madhavan played intelligence planner Ajay Sanyal, while Akshaye Khanna was seen as Rehman Dakait. Arjun Rampal portrayed the role of ISI officer Major Iqbal and Sanjay Dutt featured as SP Chaudhary Aslam. Sara Arjun, Gaurav Gera, Soumya Tandon and Rakesh Bedi were also seen in pivotal roles.

Cinema is only the first stage for Dhurandhar, as the film already has a digital plan locked. Yes, you read that right!

The makers have already sold the digital rights to a leading OTT platform. Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights for a whopping amount. After the theatrical run ends, Dhurandhar is expected to premiere on the platform on January 30, 2026, and will stream there exclusively for subscribers worldwide.
