Prime Video has released the first images from “Drawn Together”, a Spanish Amazon Original film adapted from Mercedes Ron’s duology Enfrentados. The romantic thriller is set to arrive in 2026 and will stream exclusively on Prime Video as part of the Prime subscription.

The film features Ester Expósito from “Élite” as Marfil and Hugo Diego García from “The Substance” as Sebastián. Supporting roles go to Eric Massip as Iván, Pablo Molinero as Alejandro, Zoe Bonafonte as Gabriela, Lluís Homar as Logan, and Joaquín Ferreira as Ray, building a largely Spanish-speaking ensemble.
Drawn Together Prime Video release and global reach
Prime Video plans to launch “Drawn Together” in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide in 2026. The project joins a growing slate of Spanish-language titles on the service, giving international audiences access to the film on the same platform used for other Amazon Originals.
“Drawn Together” and its sequel “Drawn Apart” continue the partnership between Prime Video and bestselling writer Mercedes Ron. The streamer already adapted Ron’s Culpables trilogy and “Tell Me Softly”, making this film duology the third phase of collaboration between the author and the platform.
Drawn Together cast, production and story
The movies “Drawn Together” and “Drawn Apart” come from Pokeepsie Films, part of Banijay Iberia, whose credits include “Veneciafrenia”, “30 monedas” and “El bar”. Álex de la Iglesia and Carolina Bang serve as producers, with direction by Óscar Pedraza and a screenplay by Sofía Cuenca.
The story follows Marfil Cortés, child of a wealthy Spanish business figure, who lives in New York. Marfil’s ordered world collapses after a sudden kidnapping and unexplained release. Her father reacts by hiring the distant and secretive bodyguard Sebastian Moore to watch over Marfil.
Marfil’s fierce independence clashes with Sebastian’s guarded professionalism, yet attraction slowly builds between the two. As the pair later return to Spain, emerging threats reveal that their environment is loaded with hidden risks, and they must move through a landscape where nothing, and no one, can be taken at face value.
