Gachiakuta OTT Release Date, Schedule: Crunchyroll Kick Off Gachiakuta World Takeover With Main Trailer- DEETS

Crunchyroll has launched the Gachiakuta World Takeover, a global anime initiative that promises to captivate fans worldwide. This campaign, in collaboration with Kodansha, Avex, and Bones, introduces the main trailer for the action-packed series. The anime is set to stream exclusively on Crunchyroll starting 6th July 2025.

Before its global streaming debut, Gachiakuta will have early premieres in 15 countries and regions. These special screenings will occur at major anime events and cities. In the United States, Anime Expo in Los Angeles will host a premiere on 4th July at 10:00 am PDT. India will see a screening at PVR Icon in Andheri, Mumbai on the same day.

Global Premiere Events

France's Japan in Paris will feature the premiere on 4th July at 11:45 am CEST. Germany's Astor Film Lounge in Berlin will host it on 5th July at 6:00 pm CEST. Italy's The Space Moderno in Rome is set for a premiere on 4th July at 6:30 pm CEST. Brazil and Mexico also have planned events with details forthcoming.

The campaign offers fans a chance to view new visuals and concept videos that announce "Here Comes Gachiakuta!" Special activations highlight the series' graffiti-inspired world. Gita Rebbapragada, Crunchyroll's COO, stated, "There's a raw, emotional current in Gachiakuta that will resonate with fans the moment they see it."

Two new characters have been introduced along with their voice actors. Regto, voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa, raised Rudo after his parents' loss and gifted him gloves. Jabber, voiced by Yuuki Shin, is part of the "Raiders," using rings with neurotoxins for combat.

The opening theme "HUGs" by Paledusk brings hardcore sound infused with emotional resonance fitting Gachiakuta's world. The ending theme "TOMOSHIBI" by DUSTCELL offers dark compositions reflecting Rudo's journey.
