Hisaab Barabar Premiere Date: Kirti Kulhari On Balancing the Scales In ZEE5’s Hisaab Barabar

With Hisaab Barabar set to premiere on ZEE5 on January 24, actress Kirti Kulhari shares her thoughts on the film's central theme, working with co-stars R. Madhavan and Neil Nitin Mukesh, and the most rewarding aspects of being part of this gripping thriller.

Talking about the idea of balancing the scales in real life, Kirti said, "My views on this theme, when it comes to people and relationships, are quite similar to my character's. Not every hisaab can be balanced because human dynamics don't work that way. In personal relationships, the idea of exact give-and-take doesn't always apply. We need to be more forgiving and kinder to one another. There should be no hisaab in relationships-everyone should simply give their best, learn to let go, and move forward in life with a lighter heart."

On working alongside Madhavan and Neil, Kirti said, "It was an absolute pleasure to share screen space with Maddy. He is such a natural actor-effortless, professional, and always prepared. It pushes you to step up your game and match his energy, which is a great learning experience. As for Neil, we have worked together before in Indu Sarkar, and I have known him since then. He's a wonderful human being, and though we didn't share many scenes in this film, I was present on set during his shoot and always enjoyed being around him. I hope we get to act together again soon."

Reflecting on her experience in the film, Kirti said, "As an actor, I prepare a lot, diving deep into the character's layers. What I loved about Hisaab Barabar was its unique comedic tone-something I haven't explored before. The writing is crisp and beautifully structured, making even serious themes entertaining. Ashwni Sir has a distinct style, and I found myself surrendering to his vision. Instead of approaching the dialogues my way, I trusted his clarity and precision. That experience was refreshing, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it."
