Reacting to the overwhelming audience demand, the filmmaker shared that fan support plays a major role in deciding the future of a franchise.
Speaking about the possibility of Season 3, Neerraj said, "Audience power is the biggest power. When they want something, everybody is forced to do that. So definitely all the stakeholders will take the note of it and immediately work on it. So this time I won't make the audience wait too long. Not another 3 years, that's for sure."
For those unaware, there was a gap of nearly three years between Season 1 and Season 2 of Inspector Avinash. While the makers are yet to officially announce the next chapter, the director's comments strongly hint that discussions around Season 3 are already moving in a positive direction.

But I am hopeful and sure that the creative team and me and my team will come up with something which will satisfy and elate the audience."
