Karuppu (Veerabhadrudu) OTT Release: Karuppu, starring Suriya in the lead role, continues its theatrical run after releasing worldwide on May 15, 2026. Directed by RJ Balaji, the Tamil fantasy action drama has drawn attention for blending courtroom drama, fantasy elements, and social themes. The film was released in Telugu under the title Veerabhadrudu.

Backed by Dream Warrior Pictures, the film features an ensemble cast including RJ Balaji, Trisha Krishnan, Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada and Supreeth Reddy. The screenplay was co-written by RJ Balaji along with Rathna Kumar, Ashwin Ravichandran, Rahul Raj, T. S. Gopi Krishnan and Karan Aravind Kumar.

The story revolves around a guardian deity who takes the form of a lawyer and enters a corrupt judicial system. The narrative follows his fight against manipulation within the court process while attempting to help a young girl in need of a liver transplant.
